Hi Karen,

Thank you for the black-and-gold songket card you sent me. It's stamped March 12 of this year, and believe it or not, it arrived today (188 days later), in perfect condition -- it looks like it was mailed yesterday. The ways of the postal system are inscrutable ;)

You have lovely handwriting, and I also enjoyed learning about the world's tallest tropical tree from the stamp that you used. Now I'm going to look up some info about songket textiles. Thank you for giving me new things to learn about :)
