I can't believe it's been a year already, but on Oct. 13th it will have been that long since I started hormone replacement therapy. Over two years ago, I don't think I would have ever reached the point where I would both be out to my family and medically transitioning - it's honestly pretty weird looking back at all I had to go through to get to this point.
Although I'll probably get a few congrats from my close friends when I tell them, it's not exactly an event that other people have marked in their calendars or you'd expect to get cards for. However, I think I'm probably more excited for this date than my birthday even (which is actually also coming up!).
Anyway, I feel awkward about announcing this date to everyone or making a big deal out of it, or expecting anything from them, but I would really love to celebrate and make that day a little special. If you'd like to send me a card, it would really give me something to look forward to and I would appreciate it an unbelievable amount!
PM or DM me for my address!
Edit: its totally fine to put LGBT stuff on any packaging! Make it as gay as you want 🌈
