It arrived at a perfect time, as it ended a drought in my mailbox, and I was feeling a bit down that day. But when I saw BF coming home, holding a bright pink envelope in his hand, my spirits were immediately lifted.

I love your photos, I almost feel like I can smell the fresh air and the forest 😊 And thank you for sharing the last snow mammal stamps with me. They are gorgeous.

Btw. when BF ordered the Otamatone, he only told me he ordered "something fun" and I was secretly hoping it would be a blacklight 🙈 Well, I'm not complaining about the Otamatone, but I'm certainly going to casually mention blacklights a lot when Christmas approaches 😉.

I enjoyed reading all the news. I can't imagine how I would feel if I saw bears in the wild, if I would love it or be scared. Maybe both?

August has been mostly cold and rainy over here, and I spent a lot of time playing with my supplies. With exception to the more spring vibe bird card I sent you, I made Halloween or Christmas themed stuff. So I kind of messed up my sense of seasons and was like "what's she talking about?" for a moment when I read "Happy Summer" 🤣

Also, RIP scissors! I hope you found a good replacement. I now have 3 different ones in regular use. (different sizes) and am also still happy with the golden ones I bought in my early RAoC times.

And in reference to the saying "Neue Besen kehren gut" ("a new broom swipes clean"): New scissors cut well. 😊
