Hello guys! These 6 months were extremely tough for me: I was going through the bachelor exams, bachelor paper presentation and graduation, and also COVID, toxic relationships and moving into the new place :D So I hope you will excuse me for these belated reminders of your kindness!
So, 8 months ago I created this request about cultural facts exchange. I have received lots of happy mails but not all of them were marked in my last "thank you" post because they arrived later. It's time to correct that! Here we go:
u/craftyscienceteacher — thank you for the Connecticut river card and the lovely message! I'm glad my card reached its addressee and she liked it :)
u/aon_iolair — thank you for the nice Aussie monster :D
u/CN5T — thank you for the pic of the Bruce Peninsula, I hope I can see this place one day!
u/choiceass — thank you for the story about Belarus imigrants! I'm happy you liked your first card from Russia :3
u/brandtotindieblaker — thank you for the vintage Capetown card, I like it absolutely. I still can't send a card back to you but I have a perfect one according to your wishes, can't wait the post office allow me to send it :)
u/mc3pio — thank you for your card, I imagine how sweet Texas looks with blooming bluebonnets ♥
u/vmiko — thank you for such a beautifully handwritten card with the Tahoe lake!
u/KK6321 — thank you for Oregon covered bridges card! I didn't know the fact they're so popular in the state
u/kidkillermcgeee — thank you for your painting of the landscape! I am happy my folklore recommendations got useful for you :3 Good luck with Russian language and culture learning :)
u/dr0p_Of_NW_sunshine — thank you for your warm wishes and the sweetest rabbit pic, I love it
u/EricBatailleur — thank you for the story about your Christmas when you were a child and an optimistic ice hockey pic!
u/nataszmata — thank you for the amazing Warsaw pic! And for the message about living in Poland and feeling Warsaw in a special way. I like living in Moscow but sometimes it feels too huge for me. Now my bf and I have moved closer to the center, so I hope I will be able to feel it in a different way, more romantic. You asked about my favorite place to travel, I think in Russia it is Saint Petersburg. It feels like another country! And the atmsphere there is different from the other Russian cities, it is more like Europe. Hope you and your animals are safe! ♥
u/lucacr x2 Thank you for both Italian and English cards, they are perfect! Hope your aunt and you are both safe and sound, I was happy to write couple of words in Italian to her and you :)
u/osziosz96 — gosh, your cards and letter were so brilliant! Thank you for them, I really enjoyed your drawings and pics ♥
u/JoyousCactus — thank you for NM card and the fact about the Petroglyph National Monument, I didn't know about it :)
u/finishingthetea — thank you for the story about Singaporean magical creature and the picture of it! It was cool to learn something new about your special interesting country
u/PlantSensitive7332 — thank you for your story about an Acadian Festival, I didn't know about that and it is very interesting. Hope you are staying safe :)
u/diffitt — thank you for the brief course of the Pennsylvania history! :D I really liked it and I didn't know about it
u/atlantictwilight — I finally have received your card! It got wet somewhere on its way and came to me a little bit blurred (that is the reason why it took so long to come) but I can recognize everything that is written there. Thank you so much for an inspiration and for the self-made card! Hope your 2021 is way better than mine :D Your card for me is related with the story: my friend and I tried to encrypt the text on it together and we were very close to each other — and he asked a consent to kiss me at the first time. That was so romantic and your card was a key for this beautiful moment :) Then our relationships have become not very healthy but still that was the very beginning of this rollercoaster story, very important for me. Thank you!
u/LeeElla — thank you for your cool Chinese New Year card! And the story of its celebration. I liked it :)
That is all guys. Thank y'all once more!Maria.
