Postcards, handmade cards, funny cards, cute cards, offensive cards ...I got them and loved them all! It meant so much to me to see my mailbox full each time I checked, which helped with my nerves leading up to surgery. I've spent recovery time reading each one and laughing at all the corny dad jokes included, taking in book suggestions, hearing about all the awesome pets out there, getting new recipes to try, and soaking up all the positive vibes everyone sent.

Thank you all for all the happy mail. It's really been helpful in keeping my spirits up while I heal. I appreciate all the stickers, tea, and other goodies sent as well. I was blown away by the thoughtfulness and how many of you took the time to personalize cards with my favorite things. Many thanks to everyone in this wonderful community!
