The Weeknd is just a great singer. As for my favorite artist, I’m a shameless Taylor Swift fan. I don’t get why people don’t like her. She’s a lyrical genius, an amazing performer and an all around normal person. Like if I could hang out with her, our conversation would spiral into a discussion about our cats.

u/OneDarkandStormyKnit I’ve been talking with a lot of people at my local community college to help me figure out what I want to be when I grow up. It’s such a weird experience for me right now since I’ve been out of school for a couple years. I had to take a break from it so I didn’t completely burn myself out. Thanks for the postcard. It’s giving me some perspective right now.

u/not_napoleon I’m glad you’re getting back out into the world to travel! I’m still scared of hopping on a plane and going somewhere with the chance of getting sick. I like the whole “American Road Trip” motif that I see in a lot of shows and movies. Just driving from place to place and if there’s something interesting on the side of the road, you stop and see it! I think you should do a road trip to see your family, but that’s what I think would be fun to do..

u/RunLongandProsper I enjoyed the cacti postcard! I love cacti! Like when I saw one in real life, I posed next to it like a dork when I went to Vegas pre-covid. I’d totally own one in person, but I have a cat that would either knock it over, eat it or he’d hurt himself.

I have a bento box series, The Salt of Life, which is about the Morton salt girl doing things, My Roommate is a Cat and slice of life corgi postcards. Most of my paycheck goes into my little hobby..

u/welshfancy Thank you for the Christmas card! It’s a little jarring getting a Christmas card in the middle of the summer. I do love Christmas because I like how they celebrate it in the Philippines. I bump 80’s music like Africa by Toto to something from the 90’s, like Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. If not that, Taylor Swift always. I’m reliving sad girl summer by relistening to Folklore again. I have a few things to add to this list: when your cat makes an activation noise, completing an art project, perfectly iced coffee drinks, finding a cool video game on sale on my Switch and finding out one of my favorite Youtubers uploaded a new video.

I got your postcard, but it didn’t have your Reddit username on it. Thank you for the beautiful carousel among the clouds postcard. As for my summer plans, I have plans for going to a drive-in theater with my boyfriend. Some of the movie combinations the theater has aren't really that great, so we're waiting for the right one.

u/CSWL To answer your question, I am a fan of The Nutcracker both the ballet and the music. Every few years, I go with some of my friends to the ballet to “be all fancy and stuff”. The Nutcracker has changed production a few times in my city, so every time I’ve been at the theater it’s always looked different. Thank you for having me reminisce about Christmas time.
