Hello Friends! Sending and receiving cards over the last 10 months has been wonderful and I'm so glad I found this subreddit. Whenever I receive cards, my husband is really happy for me and loves the cards that I stick on the wire that I have put up in our living room. On August 28th my husband and I celebrate the 20th anniversary of meeting for the first time. It was a blind date and I was sooo nervous! We went out for a meal and talked for hours. When he dropped me off that night I knew that something very special was about to begin. We kept messaging every day and a week later we met up for dinner again and we both realized that night that we were in love. It was wonderful and after 20 years we are still going strong. He has helped me through so many difficult times (I suffer from depression and anxiety) and he is always there for me. We laugh a lot and we love being silly. We don't have kids and we always say that this is the reason why we never really grew up – we are still kids ourselves.

Now, for my request: I write a postcard to him every couple of weeks because he told me once, that nobody had ever written to him. So, how about we change that? :) I would really love for him to receive some cards to show him, how much he means to me. You could write what love means to you. Or you could tell him something about a loved one (human or animal).
