I have a stack of assorted postcards - a mix of Weimar-era nightclub/ theater posters and costume designs by artist Walter Schnackenberg, and vintage Cinzano ads.
Showgirls! Cocktails! Zebras! Casinos! Acrobats! I love the style and verve of these cards, and the smoky cynicism of the cabaret atmosphere that imbues many of the images.
