u/haxan_ I just returned from a quick trip, I have been in the car all day and was so delighted to find your card in my mail pile when I returned. I have to know where you found bee washi?!?!?! I will send you a card in return.
Keeping bees is a fun hobby, it can be pricey to invest in the equipment. I did keep Italian bees, the hive swarmed on me and in an effort to salvage the hives I overnighted some Cordovan queens from California. The Cordovan are supposed to be even more docile. The Russian bees are tough for areas with hard winters but they are not as docile, it was told to me that the "hive has to be on the brink of starvation before they uncap any honey".
Thank you again for the wonderful card! I picked up some new stationary on my trip and will get something out to you soon.
