I got a stack of art postcards a while back and these are the ones that aren’t as “pretty” - I was expecting more Monet and Van Gogh, but it’s ok! I have 7 available in the following categories with potential prompts that I’ll describe to you (as a student of art/art history) -
2 “Grand Tour” portraits - not really ugly, but feature powdered wig dudes with picturesque landscapes (I’ll explain what the “Grand Tour” from art history was to you)
2 black and white portraits- a little dark and macabre, but very artful (I’ll include a fun fact about how we see color)
2 crazy Kandinskys - kinda ugly colors and geometric , but he’s a master! (I’ll include a fun artist fact)
1 big orange sculpture - might be my favorite of the bunch actually (I’ll write about the recent “UFO” sculptures appearing for fun)
Please comment which one you want and if you’re ok with the prompt or prefer something else 🤗 just want to share some art 💕
Edit: powdered wigs... what would powered wigs entail? 😱
