[Thank You] I’ve been pretty burnt out lately, but your cards always put a smile on my face 💖

Post Body

This is almost a month of thank-yous I am behind on! As the title states, I have been pretty burnt out and have taken a step back from carding, at least for a few weeks, to catch up on pen pals and other life things. Somehow I wound up sending over 300 cards/postcards in less than two months, insane I know. Thus why I’m taking a step back for a little bit. In that time though, your cards have brought a huge smile to my face!

THE HAUL

Without further ado, in order of arrival, the most sincere of thank-yous to:

u/KK6321 for the flower postcard!

u/DaenerysWon for the floral postcard! I definitely am trying to take care of myself (:

u/snerdboff x3 for the postcard, countryside card and cute stickers, and banana card with stickers! I hope someday I can walk as much as you do in the morning! It's been hard for me to walk more than a mile or two straight since breaking my leg 10 months ago. I will get there some day though!

u/ShadesOfViolet6 for the Rosalyn Yalow postcard! I really like the quote too.

u/AlfredTheButt-ler for the beautiful little card, stickers, and bookmark! To be honest, I’ve not been in the best place lately and haven’t even attempted writing any poems for the small poem mailing list I did. I will get around to them eventually, and I’ll confirm your address when I do! Thank you for your patience with me!

u/libertyprogrammer for the milestone celebration card, stickers, and coloring pages! I really like the Aesop quote you included too (:

u/pinkjiggle53 for the moths postcard! I actually am planning our honeymoon and we’ll be visiting your state! If you have any suggestions on things we must do while there, I’d love any recommendation!

u/cowboybug7 for the blue jay postcard! I hear they are super aggressive birds, but I still find them beautiful

u/gimmiegnomes x2 for the A Rugose Rose postcard and the Silver award Baroness Rothchild postcard!

u/TigerLady13 for the cute cupcake card and stickers! I love the jokes you included and that fuzzy bear sticker!

u/imhereforthememes53 for the cool “H” postcard! Thank you for your kind words and well wishes for my marriage!

u/01700 for the beautiful butterfly card! Your handwriting is clear and beautiful!

u/stephkempf for the iggy card! I’ve watched Jenna since she lived in Boston too! It’s been about 10 years I’ve been watching her! I am so so happy for her and Julien. DINK DINK!

u/girlsonabench x3 for the series of postcards! The Galaxies one I think is my favorite. I love the response to my prompt too!

u/ltd2019 x2 for the super cool reading book postcard and the super cool snail mail postcard! I will be displaying that one once I have a place to display my cards!!!

u/winkytinkytoo for the kettle postcard! And thank you, as always, for the wedding well wishes!

u/purpleteasoul for the gorgeous flower and bird card! If you ever are in need of venting to someone about wedding things, girl I got you! My favorite part about the whole wedding and everything was being able to just have a smaller thing and then going out with just our bridal party after to get tacos, all dressed up still! We didn’t have a reception, but we were more than happy with how it all turned out!

u/botanybeanqueen for the vintage tea plant card!

u/DawnSoap for the beautiful handmade card! I appreciate the reminder!

u/BlueskyDay30k for the “super duper” card with the fun facts! I actually keep going back to this one and rereading it since I’ve been kinda going through it lately. I really appreciate the encouragement and reminder, it really means a lot <3

u/josephineismyhero for the polaroid postcard!

u/returber for the super cool China postcard! IT took over a month to get to me and was quite beat up, but it gives it even more character! I absolutely love it.

u/Hufflepuffpuff_pass for the 420 love postcard! I absolutely love the envelope and stamps, as well as the stickers and bong postcard! I appreciate you wishing us luck house hunting too. Unfortunately we lost out on our 3rd offer today. Definitely heartbroken but all you can do is get back out there and keep looking. Trying to keep my head up. Thank you again for the dope card!

u/2dogsintheyard for the gorgeous sunset card and stickers! I appreciate you liking my wedding flowers! IT took me a total of 80 hours to make all of them, with assembly! I am just getting into fountain pens and if I’m correct, you use one! I would love to know what your favorite ink and pen are if you are willing to share!

u/turkishtacos for the card-making things exchange! I hope to get around to making these cards in the next week or two! Just taking some time now to catch up on other things. Thanks for being a great friend and snail-mail buddy!

u/corinne1306 for the stunning green handmade card! These are all my favorite shades of green! Thank you for the stickers too!

u/powelale000 for the handmade witchy card! I love the washi tape that you put on it! I actually am planning our honeymoon and we’ll be visiting your state! If you have any suggestions on things we must do while there, I’d love any recommendation!

u/GeneralMessage for the peacock postcard! I absolutely love the international stamps too! I have not heard any of these songs you included, but I added them to my playlist! I think I like Cold Little Heart best out of the 3.

u/6Literally6Satan6 for the dots and circles card with stickers! Funny, I received this card the same day as I ordered some biotin lol. I just hope it helps a little bit with my nails! After getting my gel nail extensions off from my wedding, my nails are splitting and super brittle. I just want them to grow that out! Anyway, if you ever need to channel more anxious energy, I’m always a willing recipient!! Hope you’re well!

u/mypetitmal for the tera-pets card and cute stickers!

u/Monetmonkey for the sweet hearts wedding card and confetti!

u/kinkyzilly3018 for the 100 TYs celebration card and tons of stickers! I appreciate the little confetti in the card too!

u/gwenasaur for the cute card celebrating my 100 milestone! I do not have a set of tarot cards yet, but I’ve watched a lot of videos about it and read quite a bit. Once I can justify spending money on one I will get one! What am I looking forward to - not feeling sick! I got my first dose of the vaccine yesterday and BOY did it knock me out!

u/laura_eva for the 100 milestone yarn postcard! I used to knit! When I was a kid, I was terrified of thunderstorms, so my counselor at the time taught me how to knit. So any time there was a storm or I felt anxious, I would knit. It worked pretty well for me for quite a few years! I hope you have a great spring as well!

u/mc3pio for the stormy postcard! I really like the aesthetic of it.

u/ConstructionLower549 for the postcard! OF is just outside of Cle! About 2 hours from Cbus.

u/notatraaaaaaaap for the Florida postcard! And thank you for the well wishes for our newly wed life! Glad to hear Uncle Bob is good now! Lol

u/shaquedamour for the absolutely beautiful succulents postcard and sweet letter! I am doing okay, have been better, but can’t complain too much. Domesticating is a great way to put it!! And thank you for the well wishes! The wedding went really really well!! If you want to see photos, you can see them here!
