Thank you so much for my happy mail!
u/doggotoast I love medieval history! Thank you so much for the Black Prince picture. I saw a bunch of castles when I visited Scotland 9 years ago, including the one in Monty Python (your mother was a hamster scene), so I totally understand your fascination. Thank you! :)
u/Sneakerlambs Thank you for the cute shadow puppets card! The washi tape and King Tut sticker are also so cute. Shadow puppets remind me a little of heiroglyphs, but I think the duck is the most complicated one I've attempted. Haha.
u/haxan_ Oh, the vintage constellation postcard is so cool! I also love the kitty drawing and the story about your house beast's name. I don't know if I'm supposed to answer here, but my cat is called Pixie! She was the size of a beanie baby when I found her almost 17 years ago, so she was this tiny fluffball with a dainty face that reminded me of a fairy.
u/Quackers212 Thank you for the cheerful flower card! I've been so excited to see all the budding trees and early flowers here, and yes, this area is very similar to where you live as far as climate goes. The Pittsburgh area is known for having a french fry problem! We put french fries on top of salads and also stuff them inside sandwiches! Heinz ketchup also started here, and the Big Mac was invented here. Another weird tradition we have is called a cookie table... Whenever there is a wedding, the couple's families and friends bake a massive spread of all kinds of cookies and lay them out with the cake. There are always take-home boxes. ;)
