I am so happy to have found this community, I finally have a reason to check my mailbox and each time I found one of these, it made my day. It took me a while to get through them, sorry about the delay.
u/Craftea052 - You were the first person I reached out to after joining here! Having recently taken part in a feminist protest with a focus on women in science, the timing of the card was perfect. I was fascinated to learn about Ann Makosinski and am amazed at what she has accomplished, and she is younger than me as well! As an added bonus I found about the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls book thanks to you and it has gone straight into my to-read list. I am also very lucky that my first card was sent on the International Women's Day. Thank you for this memorable card :)
u/the-faeling - I was so excited to see Astronomy theme cards but I was very late and thought for sure that I missed out but you were kind enough to save one for me. I love vintage art style and this one seems to be taken out of one of the original works, which is so damn cool. Carl Sagan was one of my inspirations to pursue Physics and the quote you chose to put in here is the one I would have chosen as well if you had asked me too. The perfect quote for this amazing card, thank you so much for sending me this :)
u/zennet - A HYPATIA CARD! She's a legend, and I love the style of the card, with tiny inscriptions about showcasing her brilliance. I am so happy that I could celebrate Women's History month with you, with a fitting card of someone who is symbol for enlightenment and feminism. As an expert in Astronomy, Mathematics AND Philosophy, she has been a huge inspiration for me. Thank you so much for this wonderful card and happy spring to you as well :)
u/StephenFromReno88 - This one was a bittersweet card. I was devastated to read about your loss, it is such a terrible thing to go through. I hope you have been feeling better of late. Thank you so much for choosing to write to me. The quote on the card is such a beautiful one. Neil Gaiman is one of my favourite authors, but this is the first time I came across this. And my word your handwriting is much more neater that typewritten, and I love the deep questions. I am working on the response to this which you should be receiving soon, I hope you don't mind longish letters, and I should also warn you that my hand writing is like the opposite extreme of yours, probably the worst you would have ever seen :D
