BTW: I know I messed up the title lol, I don't have any way to fix it

PART 1 of the thank you's

I haven't posted a thank you in a while, so here's your Thank You's everyone!

By the way, I suck at writing thank you notes in real life, so I’ll probably only be able to say a few random words here, but know that your cards mean so so much to me! The best part of my day is probably checking the mail :))

P.S.: Please let me know if I've tagged the wrong username, or misspelled a username

Key below for terms I used

Key:

NN - No name on card, or I've accidentally separated the card from the envelope

C - Card

P - Postcard

O - Other

D-user - deleted user, tried to tag them, no results came up

  • NN or u/betacone (C)
    • Loved the patterned valentine's card you sent! Those little hearts were so cute :) Learned a new word too! Thought that was a pretty interesting meaning! Hope you had a good Valentine's Day!
  • u/mentally_30 (C)
    • The bird card was so pretty! Looks very calm and surreal. The nice little spring poem inside by "Lady Bird Johnson" was lovely. Thank you for the cute bouquet of stickers, I like the blue theme they've got going on. Great decorating :)
  • u/lmnoporcupine (P)
    • The cat postcard was super cute! The siamese(?) cat looks surprised at everything thing it does haha. I wish I could paint watercolor like that, maybe one day! Hope you find a cat friend soon... Meow!
  • u/lovingsoull13 (P) [D-user]
    • I've never actually watched the whole Alice in Wonderland movie as far as I can remember, though I've read a couple of the fairytale versions. Thought it was a nice little card, and will be going up on my wall! :) Hope you're having a good spring, especially since we're out of the cold!
  • u/sweetpeahann (P)
    • Can I just say, I absolutely adore the little drawing of Eggdog you've done! I probably squealed when I saw it haha. Thanks for the women of science card, featuring Sau Lan Wu, a particle physicist. I never knew she was the one who discovered the charm quark. So cool!
  • u/cybergeneric (P)
    • The pastel aesthetic of the card looks so pretty! I really like the green and yellow tones surrounding the rolling hills! I think the landscape is of a countryside, maybe rice fields. I've always wanted to go to Italy, visit the amazing architectural sites. Also, where did you get the stamp? I've never seen one like it!
  • u/skylineprophets (P)
    • Thanks for the awesome women's history month card! What a nice illustration on the front, really like that style of art. It was interesting to learn about Anita Hill, and how she affected the way harassment is treated in today's office!
  • u/summerxskin (C)
    • The shape of this card was so unique! Don't know how it made it through the mail though lol, seemed like it might fall apart. The design on the front looked cute and vintage, especially the little cat in the corner. Glad to be part of your 100 Valentine's Day cards project!
  • u/merfrog (P)
    • The quote on the top really meant a lot to me, thanks for that. I found the scenic ocean illustration with the ticking hourglass to be really calming. Wishing you more connection too! Hope you meet many frogs in your future!
  • u/martymcflygurl (P)
    • Never knew there was an asteroid(?) named Percy! Nice quote by the way, quite inspiring! I really liked the card too, didn’t think it was homemade at first sight. Wishing you a bright future!
  • u/murbat (C)
    • Thanks for the inspiring card and cool stickers! I hope the rest of my high school years go just as well as they’ve been going! I’m definitely looking forward to the art and design aspects of it too :) Will take your advice!
  • u/tinawebmom (P)
    • What a scenic view! I can only wish to look out window to see the dusty red orange cliffs of the Red Canyon… Unique stamps too! I’ve been looking into collecting vintage stamps lately. Hope you stay safe and happy too!
  • u/inyola (P)
    • Another great postcard for my state collection! Thanks for sending me the scenic valleys of Kentucky. Hope you actually made it into those grad schools you applied to. I definitely want to hear more about your Lego Count Dooku dream haha
  • u/colorlessmurakami (P)
    • I love these comics! I’ve seen them everywhere but this might be one of my favorites :) Cats and hypnotizing alligators! The perfect comic. Liked the little washi tape strip on the back too

This is part one of many thank you's to come! If you don't see yours, don't worry, it'll be up soon! Once again, sorry for taking forever to post these.
