Dear card writers,

Some of these thank yous are so late, it's not even funny. I just want to say that the delay has nothing to do with my level of appreciation for the cards you sent. We all know this past year was a little... extra. 'nuff said. I loved each and every one of these cards, and I'm grateful to you for taking the time to write to me.

u/terpin Thank you for the Christmas card. That little hedgehog-in-a-mug drawing is the cutest thing. I'm so happy that you got to have your beautiful wedding day before the world went crazy! And yes indeed, I have been able to find bright spots during the pandemic: like your unexpected Christmas card. So sweet of you to reach out to me, you happened to pick a time when I really needed a little extra happiness to get me through. The little hedgehog will be a permanent part of my Christmas decorations :) And happy 1st anniversary to you two!

u/BlueSkyDay30k If I'm reading the date stamp on the envelope correctly, you sent me this card in June of last year... oh my. So without further ado, please allow me to say that I giggle every time I look at the calligraphied "no shit, Sherlock." Thank you also for the Lisa Frank stickers and green tea you sent, which I'm sipping right now as I'm writing this post. (Well, I'm sipping the tea... not the stickers, lol.) Beautiful handwriting, tea, and stickers... everything I love in one envelope! Thank you again.

u/arrow5555 You were the only one who responded to my request for hands, haha. And you hit it out of the park with your "You!" "No, YOU!" silliness. Too funny. The stickers you used remind me of some of my favorite books from childhood, and also of old board games. https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/67181/15-centuries-old-board-games Last but definitely not least, I'd like to thank you for the absolutely awesome old stamps you used on the envelope, INCLUDING THE NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP ONE THAT FEATURES TWO HANDS! I can't even! So awesome! I also love the Haida ceremonial canoe stamp. Thank you for going the extra mile to fulfill my weird request.

u/2dogsintheyard Thank you very much for the abstract photo card, it reminds me of the Buddha for some reason, and I see little hearts at the bottom, it's a very cool image. Thank you also for the bonus Powwow, I didn't expect the clothes to be so colorful. I have a thing for photos of people who are totally engrossed in whatever activity they're currently involved in, so the young lady on the right side really speaks to me. I really enjoy your calligraphy too, and I appreciate that you even color-coordinated the ink with the stamps you used. Thank you so much.

And finally: one thank you that's not late \raises fist in triumph**

u/CapnCobbler I'm so in love with these birds, and the art in general! Thank you for the goose, which reminds me of my grandma, who adored geese (well at least pictures of geese... not sure how she felt about the actual birds). I don't see the psychopathic expression you mentioned, haha. But anyone who's encountered geese knows that they can be a bit, uh, difficult to be around, so it doesn't surprise me that you interpret it that way. Thank you again, and also the stamps you used on both of these cards are fabulous.

Have a great weekend everyone! And thank you to whoever is doing the flairs, you rock!
