SURPRISE! Everyone gets a card!

Wow what an incredible day I’ve had! It started out last night with an email: I could schedule my first COVID vaccine dose! So I checked it out and scheduled it for today!

It was a very long but relatively organized process. I am amazed and impressed by the logistics that go into getting all those vaccines processed today, and so grateful for all the people who made it happen. My appointment was for 2:30. I was 45 minutes early. I got the actual shot at 3:45, and was allowed to leave at 4. They had to have gone through at least a thousand doses while I was there. It was absolutely incredible, and I was so glad I could do it today.

In other news, I got to visit a Daiso store for the first time. Wow, that is an awesome shop. I bought a bunch of cute washi tape and some pens and notecards and just enjoyed the whole thing. I did not expect to be there an hour! I even found my favorite gummy candy!

So, to celebrate this awesome day, (did I mention I also kicked ass playing Catan this evening? And that my birthday is Wednesday? And that we’re getting a new mattress and won’t have to be hurting from bad sleep all the time?) I would love to send out some cards to celebrate! The cards will be random, and I will try to fill them with as much joy and happiness I can fit.
