Ok so I thought 2020 was a crap year, but 2021 is turning out to be a disaster!

I am so very sorry for being so late in saying thank you to you wonderful people. My company sold my site and that has been a whole shit show (continuing ad nauseum) but silver lining I still have a job, right?

Add on to the stress of transitioning to a whole new company my bestest most amazing cat Pew who has been in my life for the last 14 years past away unexpectedly. He did have cancer, so it wasn't 100% unexpected, but we had been treating his cancer successfully for the last year and a half and he had gone to the vets 2 weeks prior to his collapse and he was in perfect health. So yes, unexpected and all of our plans for doing things at home went out the window. Fuck cancer. And fuck cats not living as long as people, that's just cruel.

So I actually just opened some of the happy mail I had received in February because I knew it would be cat related and I just couldn't handle it. I really couldn't handle it anyways but at some point you just have to put your big girl pants on, read your mail while bawling your eyes out, and just keep on going.

So sorry for the long apology post - without further blah blah here are my very deepest heartfelt thank yous:

I loved everything you sent - the crocheted snowflake, the snowflake ornament, the tasty chocolates, the stickers, and tea. You went above and beyond. And the card was so cute, who doesn't love owls! I'm going to take your 2021 advice to heart - lots of good words to live by!

Also I'm curious if you have blue hair or have had it in the past? I've dyed mine many crazy colors and blue and purple have been my favorites.

u/imeldamail I knew this card was coming. I avoided RAOC mail because I knew this card was coming. This was the bawl my eyes out because I miss my tuxedo boy. Thank you so very much though, my other cats love the cat nip you also included. And it was a really nice reminder that the time I did have with my best boy was good, he loved playing in cat nip and he got ALL the cat nip. So thank you very much.
