Hello my RAoC Family !!

Well, we can all agree if my mailbox could talk, I would need some pretty serious meds, but it definitely felt all the love and warmth of all you amazing friends. You all have had such a profound impact on my life that even the biggest thank you would fall short to express how truly blessed and grateful I am for all of you ! I’m a firm believer that you can never show too much gratitude for the people who bring so much joy and love into your life.... please know there is never anything random about your acts of kindness. Kindness is just what you all do, and you all do it so well!

First, everyone who signed up for my offer, I apologize because I’ve only just sent most of them out. Covid Vaccine Part Deux wasn’t kind, it knocked me down like I was in an unexpected prize fight, and I stupidly left my boxing gloves at home !! Ok a little PSA : Please, please, please get vaccinated, with whatever vaccine is available to you, and continue to wear a mask. Oh, and continue social distancing... just pretend like you farted in a high end Department Store, and you need to maintain a distance and need to keep moving so no one knows it was you !! Maybe not the best analogy... but when you have a sister who is lactose intolerant and INSISTS on having a venti latte, you quickly learn survivor skills.

Nielsen, but I will definitely be checking it out. I just read the synopsis on Goodreads, and it’s right up my alley. My brother in law is an avid reader too, so I texted him, and he was like, “You haven’t read it yet ? Whaaaattt ???”... I said, “Sharing is caring man, so I’m gonna remember this”... I use pencils for everything so it has a very special place on my desk (where my dog won’t eat it...yes, unfortunately that has happened). It’s always been interesting to see that eraser later... if you know what I mean. I really happy to have met you, and sharing cards with you is a joy.

I love that you’re close to your sister, cause I’m close with mine, it’s like a guaranteed best friend for life. Even though she is younger, one time she saw someone bullying me on the playground and she came running all the way across the playground and started kicking the other kid in the shins. I swear ex husband and ex BF, are still scared of her. Top it off my brother in law is equally protective, so if you’re ever interested to hear I have some very interesting dating tales.

I love the artwork on the cards, and I will definitely be using them to Pay your kindness forward. 5. I loved the Lou Paper Birds of North America, I absolutely love Cardinals. My sister has this one cardinal that comes and pecks on the window of whatever room she’s in. He comes everyday, she named him Clarence. Clarence now has a gang of friends that are visiting daily. They say Cardinals are people we have loved and lost. The sticker of the girl with the cat purse was so cute. 6. Thank you for the President’s Day card, and I loved the Abe Lincoln quote, cause I’m always walking backwards.

u/Quintessential-ly : I love the puzzle card !! I’m so fascinated by puzzles !! My sister and her family love doing puzzles, I think it’s the perfect way for a family to sit together and spend time. My sister got me this amazing puzzle, my parents have about as much interest as my dog. Quick question do you spay it with a glue before framing ? Also do you put the puzzle together on a mat, so it doesn’t get disrupted?

I was obsessed with the Indoor Pool, because I didn’t even know you could have a pool indoors !! I don’t even like swimming, honest, cause I have long hair, and I hate wearing a swim cap.

I saw the crossbow, which again isn’t typically her weapon of choice. I loved the Trilogy so much and shoved it down everyone’s throat by buying them the set !! It started with a co-worker saying her child was going to be reading the books, but she wanted to read them first, but was working nights. So I said I would read them, and I loved them.

I’m so jealous you have a Husky, because I’m always watching Husky Tantrums, and my 8 pound Malti-Chon is getting mildly irritated, and says “Hey you like it so much, here let me show you a real tantrum”. He hates snow, and acts like I’m making him walk through a goopy swamp. I’m glad it’s warming up a bit, not a lot but a bit. It’s dark going to work, it’s dark coming home, I’ve been in Michigan my whole life and I still can’t deal with winter. I love all the other seasons, actually I’m lying, Michigan is hotter than Hades in the summer, so I like 2/4 seasons. Your card is finally going out. I’m sorry it’s taken so long, I’m like the sloth from Zootopia.

My sister is infinitely a more experienced baker. Thank you for the book and movie recommendations, I will definitely look into Zumbo’s, and “The Invisible Life of Addie Larue”, it definitely sounds like something I would enjoy. I have your address, but I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sending it to me again, they decided to put a postmark right in the middle.

u/TigerLady13 : Thank you for the La Push Washington card, and your uplifting words. Not being able to see my nieces has been difficult. Honestly, last year I knew we wouldn’t be getting together for summer, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, so I thought I was setting a realistic goal of March to visit for my niece’s Birthday, but it looks like we’re going to have to push that until summer, so fingers crossed. They’ve been in and out of school because of kids that went away during Christmas Holidays, so it’s been crazy !!

Michigan was cold, some snow, but being Michigan it’s kind of expected, but definitely not in New Mexico. Is the address at the top yours ? Or the card makers ? I made a cookie butter banana bread. I think I’m the only person who thinks bananas going black is the best !! I hope this doesn’t sound gross, but I let them go black enough so the banana is more of a syrup. Then I like to smush one Banana chunks, for the extra banana flavor !! As someone who read 50 Shades of Grey, the absolute lack of a storyline other than every other page being a sex scene. OMG, it never occurred to me what the Audiobook would be like !! I don’t know if you’ve ever seen The Office but Phyllis was listening to an erotic book, while working and the whole office was grossed out. I actually read about Isabella Stewart Gardner, and she really did lead a fascinating life, so I need to Thank you for sharing that because I learnt something I probably would never have.
