I posted recently asking for cheer and encouragement while I'm facing a tough postpartum time. So many of you responded and sent such thoughtful mail! I have a literal stack of mail to say thank you for! I genuinely appreciate each piece of mail. So many of you made me tear up with how sweet, thoughtful, and encouraging your cards were :)
/u/_northernlights - Thank you for the card you sent! The weiner dog on a bike is a really cute design! Thanks for the encouraging words as well. I am starting to feel better at this point. Still have some way to go, but trying to take it one day at a time.
u/CatZone-A - Thank you for the cute cat card! The past month has indeed felt like a jumble of long hours of feeding and pacing. It's kinda nice in a weird way to hear that I'm not the only mom who's had worries of being a bad mom. I'm definitely looking forward to things getting a bit better (and more fun!). Thank you for the cup of tea as well!
u/minday - Thank you for the hummingbird card! I love the design, and it's really sweet of you to look for something I enjoy to send. It definitely brightened my day!
u/notjohnsdaughter - Thank you for the card and reassurance! I'm trying to remind myself to not be too hard on myself. Easier some days than others. But I have been enjoying the times when I can just enjoy my baby :)
u/smileykris10 - Thanks for the fabric postcard! It's so bright and cheery! It definitely brought me a smile! Did you make it yourself?
u/Craftea052 - I love the Peanuts card! Thank you for the cheery mail! The little quote pop-outs are really cool too :)
u/luxsloth - Thank you for the lovely geranium card! I really appreciate the encouragement too. It was a really good reminder of what to keep my focus on!
/u/wabisabi_sf - Thank you for the card! The design is perfect and hilarious, it brought a much needed laugh! Thanks for the encouragement!
u/PurpleTeaSoul - Thank you so much for the card! I love the typewriter design. And thanks especially for the reminder that I deserve self love and kindness too. It's been hard to keep in mind sometimes.
u/StephenFromReno88 - Thank you for the polar bear card! This baby is my first child, so it's definitely an adventure being a first time mom! I've been trying to stay happy by enjoying the sweet & calm moments with my new baby. Also by putting on a lot of Star Trek and Star Wars to get through the times that are just pacing with the baby. My favorite childhood memory? Hard to pick one, but memories of my family spending time all together are way up there.
u/tiff_4138 - Thank you so much for the card you sent, as well as the little stickers (they're really cute)! I really appreciate what you told me about your mom. It was nice to hear that being honest about my feelings can help make me a good mom.
u/cswl (times 2!)- (I'm not totally positive if I've got your username right. I hope I do!) Thank you for the card! I'm back out of the hospital now, and working on recovering all the way. I'm definitely in love with my little baby. Thank you for the congrats card as well! :)

u/Stevonnie4ever - Thank you for the postcard! I love the fun, colorful design, and that you put a cello on it! Thank you for all the well wishes! The card definitely put a smile on my face. Also, I do actually play the cello! That's really cool that you do too!
u/ParisianWood - Thank you so much for the encouraging card you sent, and for sharing about your experience. I'm back home now, and I did give my baby lots of cuddles once I was back with her. It felt really good to get back!

u/marshmallow_unicorn - Thank you for the encouraging card! I definitely feel like the good times are really worth it for all the work going into caring for the baby :)
/u/sledgehammertoe - Thank you for the postcard! I will definitely be open with my doctor about my health. It's hard sometimes when it comes to the mental health part, but I know getting help for it is much better even if talking about it is hard.
u/relax455 - Thank you for the very sweet baby card. It's definitely been rough dealing with complications on top of the normal newborn struggles, but it's nice to hear that it gets better. I loved the corny baby joke as well! :)
u/NewNewRubberDucky - Thank you for the card, and thanks for being part of the group reminding me that I'm not alone. I am really enjoying the baby snuggles when I can get them! Also, the llamacorn calendar was really entertaining!

/u/travel4me22 - Thank you for the bright and fun card! Just breathing has been helping me get through the tough times. I'm really looking forward to there being more happy-mom-times! It does seem like there's been a ton of changes already :)

/u/sarakgill - Thank you for the lovely postcard! The quote from Dory sounds perfect. I'll do my best to keep it in mind!
/u/vicsinn - Thank you for the butterfly card! Postpartum has indeed felt lonely in a lot of ways, but it has honestly helped me feel a little less lonely to have gotten so much encouragement from everyone here, especially from mothers who've gone through similar things. Thank you for sharing with me about your experience! I've been working on being open with my doctors about all the stuff I'm feeling. And thank you for the offer to chat :)
u/kimberly-L - Thank you for the card full of cheer! I really appreciate the encouragement and good vibes! It's really nice to hear from other moms!
