u/LeeElla: Thank you for your card, which as you know, was the actual last card of the Year of the Rat. I was surprised that your family does reunion lunches on the eve! We've only ever had reunion dinners. What do you guys eat for that? Surprisingly, I met a small group people each day of the new year, despite what we'd initially planned. I also played cards and won some monies while I was at it, hehe. I also had fewer angpows, unfortunately, but what to do. No visiting, no angpows. I have a day off in March and the countdown has begun! P.s. the cow washi is cute and pretty funny.

u/batcaved: Happy new year to you too! Hope you had a good 3 day weekend last week. I can't believe we won't have another long weekend till the end of March. How did you learn how to do calligraphy? We had to learn it in school for a short period, but we just messed around as kids.

Unfortunately, the only anime I watch is the Studio Ghibli movies on Netflix, so I don't know who that drawing you did was of, but it's really cool! Hope you're doing well. I'm also looking forward to colouring in the page! I write cards mostly for my enjoyment and forget sometimes that just as I love receiving mail, my recipients look forward to what is in their mailboxes. Thank you for reminding me of that. I'm glad that my postcard was able to offer you comfort and was able to bring you joy during these times.
