Thank you for the birthday cards! People asked what I did for my birthday, I spent the day at my grandmother's house and mainly studied. Dinner and cake were prepped the day before, and the rest of my immediate family came over to my grandmother's to celebrate. I opened most of the cards during study breaks, and I think my grandmother loved looking at/reading the cards as much as I did.
u/sledgehammertoe - Thank you for the Himouto! postcard and the light novel recommendation!
u/gettysburging - Thank you so much for the carnivorous plants postcard! I love the stickers you used too, especially the Totoro one. I hadn't heard of California Carnivores, but it looks like it'll be a fun site to look at.
u/chickennuggetluvr - Thank you for the birthday card, I like the colorful shapes on it! I did take some time to relax and I had lemon cake and lots of ice cream.
u/katier127 - I love all the pizza puns! Thank you for the handmade pizza themed birthday card!
u/BlacksmithEquivalent - Thank you for the happy birthday post card! I had lemon cake and lots of ice cream. I agree even small celebrations are cool too, and honestly I prefer to spend my birthday with just my family.
u/orangewolpertiger - I hope I spelled it right... Anyway, thank you for the cute bird birthday card! And the bookmark, stickers, coffee recipes, and fun facts! I usually don't really drink coffee, but my mom got a new coffee maker and we've been playing with stuff lately, so we're excited to try the recipes you sent! When I was looking up recipes for candy corn I came across the fact that it was originally called chicken feed, it's kind of weird to think about calling it that lol.
u/KOLMenuditis - The duck sticker on the back of the envelope is really cute! Thank you for the silly Gorilla card and the birthday word search!
u/mostlygoodthings - I love the halloween stamp you used! The book happy birthday card is really cool! And thanks for the stickers!
u/arrow5555 - Thanks for the birthday card and trivia calendar pages! Also I thought the cupcake diagram was cool and showed it to my mom and brother and then they started arguing over whether it was a stamp or came on the card, so I agreed to ask. Which is it? lol
u/followingthebeat - Thank you for the handmade card! I love all the stickers on it! I love chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, thank you for the suggestion. Also, I like your handwriting.
u/b4nkrupt - Thank you for the birthday card! You asked a lot of questions and I was already planning to send you a card back, so I'll just answer them there lol.
u/bedhead72 - Thank you for the beautiful birthday card! The envelope looks amazing and the charlie brown stamps are cute! Thank you for the candied pecan recipe!
u/Jdoodle7 - I love the flower you modge podged to the back of the envelope! I really like the card and I think it matches perfectly with the chicken soup recipe! The recipe looks very good, I'm excited to try it! My grandmother also thought that it looks good and told me that I better save some for her when I make it.
u/nonoyo_91 - The wax seal is cool and thank you for the tape to use on nails (or cards) and the stickers! The card is really cool, I would never think to fold a card like this, and I love how you made little envelopes to hold the tape and stickers on the card. You said the card isn't perfect, but it doesn't have to be and honestly I don't know what you're talking about. To me it seems like a lot of times when people make things they get so focused on minute details and trying to get it to what they first imagined or planned, but no one else knows what exactly the original plan was. And because others can't know the exact original plan, others won't see the small things that make it "not perfect". Again, thank you for the handmade card! I love it!
