So i receveived a bunch of nice postcards already !
: u/luxsloth : even if you find it too busy for your own taste, i really like it, it pictures really well Vancouver, and the aesthetic of the postcard is lovely! Thanks :D
: u/chordleft : the first thing i thought while looking at the card is that it reminded me some paintings from Paris about Paris when you walk into artsy alleys and see painters painting on the spot ! I really enjoy the postcard, and i knew this bridge, but i never have the chance to go there! Thanks!
: u/finishingthetea : Thanks for the cute enveloppe and the card! I didn't know that the merlion was the symbol of Singapore ! The card is really amazing with the holo effect with the light !! And i loved the stamp too ! So thanks a lot !
: u/kwbat12 : Loved the postcard, the aesthetic is really pleasant! Otherwise thanks for the fun facts, i didn't know any of these two, the first one about the annual bike race is great, tho it must be difficult to ride with all those bikes ! hahaAnd the second one, the sculptures are fantastic, tho i'm wondering if the butter goes to waste, it would be a shame!
: u/fandatar : I really love this bridge, i remember some photos with the clouds going through it, making it "float" , that was amazing! And the view from the postcard is great, it must be a fun and breathtaking hike ! thanks!
: u/suzilla10 : i loved the design, it fits well the german architecture tbh, and the colors help too! It reminds me of the Bauhaus movement, around 1920-1930 ! Plus now i know where to meet up with potential friends there ;D Thanks!
: u/reindeerfrog : it goes really well with the finland mood tho, so i'm glad you pick the one you loved the most! And the simple design is nice, i love polygonal design ! I still haven't check the website, but i won't forget ! Thanks !
: u/sage1725 : the design is amazing, a nice retro look, bringing you back a few years into the 1950' haha! Stay safe too, and thanks !
: u/kwbat12 : Another postcard from you, as you said "because why not!" so thanks a lot ! that's a great view into the past, the place looks empty, whereas now it's definitely not empty anymore! I'm a bit jealous about all your traveling tho ! haha Thanks again!
: u/rumpelstiltskinxap : Thanks for the view of Seattle, i didn't know it was surrounded by a big moutain like that ! But i wish i'll be able to visit it too, someday!
: u/idriveashitcar : Happy new year too, a late one tho ! The postcard is hurting my eyes while trying to decifer it haha, but worth it ! thanks :D
: u/jeseni : that's a pretty old church tho ! I've looked up the website you told me about, so this is the Church of Mother of God ! I was surprised on the quality of the paintings considering how old they are, and how great they are ! Thanks again for the card!
: u/e-fletch : Thanks for the quick fact about Eliza Hamilton, and i'm wondering how much did it cost at that time, and how long did it take to built it ! Stay safe too ! Thanks!
u/onelittlericeball : i got yours this morning in the mail ! So thank you too, the card is lovely ! At first i thought "wait, it looks like Paris" haha, but when reading from where it was i was like "ooohhh!" :D Otherwise i find it funny that it's called the "grossmünster", which for a non swiss/german person would sounds like "gross monster" haha! it made my day! And as you mentionned in the PS, the stamp is great, both are actually, i couldn't find stamps like that in France sadly! Btw yours is already sent, so you should probably receive it soon considering we are neighbors !
Alright, i've answered to everyone, i need to get 5 cards for 5 of you, but they all will be mailed this week !I'll make another post soon for a new exchange to try to check boxes of countries i haven't checked yet !
