Edit: ‼️ALL CLAIMED BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO PM ME STILL AND I CAN SEND A DIFFERENT CARD WITH THE SAME SOURCES ‼️
I got a packet of random cards from the thrift store last year, and amongst them were some postcards from 1996 of postwar Auschwitz. They depict locations inside the camp and have a short description on the back contextualizing the photo for the reader/visitor.
Seeing as today (Jan 27) is International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, I would like to offer these up (sent in envelopes) to anybody willing to take a few minutes to reflect on the atrocity in a moment of silence. Preferably for those who would like to learn more, I will be suggesting some movies/documentaries/sources where survivors of the Holocaust have the agency to tell their stories. It feels more important than ever to be active listeners of the past, when there seems to be a proliferation of anti-Semitic hate crimes in the news lately.
Feel free to give me a PM. 0 left. Thank you
