Hello everyone! Last week I received my last New Year cards and right now I checked my mailbox and found three new cards from my new exchange there! Very fast ones! All of them are here — https://imgur.com/41sP4NF
So, let's start from New Year ones:
u/Possible_Car — thank you for the beautiful scenery of Ganga river! I don't know if I could host you as you have written on the postcard because I don't even know where I will live next year :D But if you come to Russia I will show you some places of Moscow and even take a small tour across the city! I wish you all the best with your travels after the pandemic will end!
u/harwardt99 — thanks a lot for the picture of Russian ballet dancer! Ыыы :D Wish you tons of good emotions this year and positive postcrossing experience!
And here we go for my first cultural cards. I asked you to share some facts about your state or country, and things I recieved impressed me with their cuteness:
u/Rainbowquarts — my favorite in this set! Starting with the picture of the Gothic window — I adore this architectural detail — and finishing with the text. Ohio is a state I know almost nothing about, so thank you for such a cozy descriotion of the restaurant in your state. Now I want to try chili (never did before)! I will put your card on the wall near my working table ♥
u/ocean_bea — thank you for the card from New Jersey. I know the state a little because I watch the TV series "House M.D." which shows the hospital in Prinston, NJ, and read a bit about it. I am glad to read about your impression of living there!
u/sadiefenix — your card with cute ducks is amazing! The Russian Post put their marking right on the head of the duck (I couldn't wait other behavior from them). So it is almost like in the space suit now :D But it is okay, I still can see the whole bird and enjoy it very much! Also your description of Alaskan bird fauna is very comprehensive, thanks for that! I was excited to know something about Alaska because it seems like a white spot on the map for me (except some facts and Russian memes about its history and migration from Russian Empire to USA).
Thank you guys, I am happy to understand this is just a beginning of cultural facts exchange! Stay tuned for new thank-you posts :3
Maria.
