I want to thank u/isha314 X2 for the beautiful postcard of the beautiful Indian ladies and for your handmade Diwali postcard. Thank you so much for all your information about India. I've never been, but would love to visit. Kashmir sounds wonderful. My favourite local places in Wales, UK are the national parks that we have, including Pembroke Coast National Park and the Brecon Beacons National Park, which are known for their rolling hills, vast countryside and natural beauty. Outside the countryside, I enjoy the city of Bath in Somerset, which was established by the Romans and has many of their original bathing places throughout the city. The author Jane Austen also lived there for a time, so there's a lot of architecture from that time period, which allows you to imagine the kind of world that she inhabited. I would love to visit India during Diwali sometime. It sounds like a very special and festive time.

I wonder if the Queen feels the same about the obligatory shenanigans that she's obliged to participate in for what we call the Queen's Official Birthday, which is not actually her birthday at all.
