Hey guys, I’m here to ask a huge favor please!!

I had two very good friends in Canada - married couple who could make anyone laugh! They were the sweetest, loving, funniest, funnest, loveable, beautiful souls! I’m devastated to learn that one succumbed to cancer after years of battling it. It was tough. The worst is that my other friend, his wife, is now left to battle pancreatic cancer without him! They were such a great team!! It breaks my heart; I haven’t been able to stop crying! I talked to her today and she wouldn’t let the conversation be about sadness. We talked about grief of course and just the last moments she tried to spent w him, but she kept the conversation upbeat and just went on to be the fighter she is! It just breaks my heart bc she was so sick and in the hospital while he was facing the last of his days. She was able to spend a couple hours w him maybe about a week ago but it was so difficult on both of them as they were in two hospitals hours apart! They had to part ways bc both had to go back to their hospitals. Then she received a call from his hospital that they don’t think he’s going to make it through the night. Her step son got her and they drove to his hospital but didn’t quite make it in time - he was already in a coma but she was there for his final breathes. And I wasn’t. It’s killing me. I want to go out there and be w her and just stay with her but the damn borders are still closed! (I’m in US and she’s in Canada)
