u/ninajyang: Thanks for the pretty “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II” postcard. Reminded me a bit of “Royal Arcade” here in Melbourne’s CBD. Of course it’s nowhere near as majestic as the Italian Galleria! :)

Loved the tidbit that “it’s known for not using a single nail for its construction “ That’s amazing! Hope I can visit it someday. The postage stamps are so cute by the way.

u/LeeElla: Thanks for the lovely “On the bank of the Seine Bennecourt” Postcard. (Received around August.) Loved reading your description of summer in Singapore. It’s strange for me to think of summer as year round! Yes, it gets pretty hot here in Australia... particularly Dec-January...which is now, LOL. Yes, masks can be a pain in hot weather. (Currently we only have to wear masks in indoor public places like shops, malls, etc. ) The most annoying thing though, is of course, the high UV radiation due to the hole in the Ozone layer over Aust. The correct protocol being: Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide. (Slip on a shirt, Slop on sunscreen, Slap on a hat, Seek shade, Slide on wraparound sunglasses...to avoid sun damage.)
