Happy New Year everyone! I hope your first two days have gone smoothly so far. My laundry got stuck in the washing machine for about 18 hours, but I was able to move it this morning. It's the little victories :)
I'm sorry to have been a little radio silent these days. Christmas carding did wipe me out a bit and I gave myself a few days to not worry about looking for a job, but now I have to get back to it. Plus, I've been shirking on my chemo-angels card sending duties. I guess there are worse things than being busy?
u/justalilpatience - hello from the opposite corner of the state and thank you for the holiday card! I enjoyed your stamp an sticker collection. (I'm taking a short spending break, but have plans to go hunting for both very soon! I found that my ridiculous assortment of water-based markers serve as an excellent alternative to ink pads, so I'm very excited to find more rubber stamps!)
u/ghostchild25 - Thank you for your little holiday note! The paper you used on the back reminds me of the vintage wrapping paper my gramma used to collect. We had tons and tons of rolls tucked away at the bottom of our linen closet that went unused for many years, so that was a nice moment of nostalgia.
u/blueberry_dinox - thank you for your festive wishes card! I don't know why I get particularly excited for WW mail, but I do and it's extra special.
u/scribex2 - Thank you for yet another card! I love the ornament stickers you used! AND THE CUSTOM STAMP OMG - Snoo with their little postcards is so cutieeeee. Your little story about the card being passed from one person to the next made me smile. I've been alerting everyone I know to give me the cards they don't like or have a purpose for - so far, I've gathered a nice assortment! Can you also tell me a little bit more about the St. Jude card recycling program? I love the idea (although hesitant because I like keeping my cards!) and have been looking into something similar through Cards for Kindness.
u/freakishkittie - thank you for your return card! I hope everything is going well and there is good news on the horizon! Please please always let me know if you are in the mood to receive or need another card! :)
Thank you all again! Here's to many more cards in 2021 - and not needing them because of isolation, but sending them anyway!
