I’ve been lucky enough to receive nearly a half dozen postcards in the mail this week from you wonderful folks! In no particular order,

1. u/summerxskin (and toddler!) - thank you so much for the Kate Spade post card! I love the quote, and your toddler did a fantastic job with the stickers :) It really adds to the card!

2. u/gettysburging (x2!) - my dad loved the UC Davis postcard! Marching bands have a special place in his heart, and it’s even cooler that you play trombone too! He was so touched to receive a card. I also adore the cat postcard you sent me! I think the word for it is holographic (correct me if I’m wrong), and it is just the coolest thing! Thank you for thinking of both of us :)

3. u/BlacksmithEquivalent - we love jazz too! The trumpet sticker was the perfect touch. Latin jazz has a special place in my dad’s heart, so he loved to know that you enjoy it too. I’m not too familiar with Jesse Cook, but now I have someone new to listen to! Things have been tough, but encouraging messages like yours are so appreciated

4. u/Eren_Ketchum420 - it came! I can’t believe you did the drawing yourself. It’s absolutely wonderful, and you are so talented! Take the “A” Train was one of the first songs I learned to play, and my dad was the one who taught it to me. You couldn’t have chosen a better tune. My dad was so grateful for your message. One of his greatest prides is the knowledge that he’s been able to share music with so many people in his life. I hope your future endeavors go well. BW is a great university!
