Thank you to everyone that has sent me mail over the last little while! It has been awesome opening up my mailbox to all of these colorful cards! Here is a link to photos of all of the cards!
u/Chikadatte Thank you for the cool terracotta warrior card! I love how yellow that it is. I've heard of these guys before and it is fascinating! My parents and I had an interesting conversation about it when the card arrived. Your handwriting is very pretty :) And your Halloween washi tape and bunny sticker is adorable! It is my favorite holiday <3 I hope that you are doing well on the other side of the world! Best wishes from Canada!
u/dkeowspek Thank you for the Toronto card! I haven't been there yet but hoping to go see a concert there after everything clears up. I love your handwriting - it is so neat that it looks like it was typed :) Lol yeah I do tend to write tiny so that I can fit a lot on cards. One of the reasons that I like fine tipped pens. Let me know if you come to Atlantic Canada and I can suggest some places to check out. It is very pretty out here :) We have had snow a few times over the weeks but it has all melted by the next day. It usually is pretty warm here compared to Alberta (I used to live there). We have our trees all decorated now and it is super festive here in the rural community. I love seeing all of the decorations. Hope that you enjoy the holiday season!
u/OneDarkandStormyKnit Thank you for the cool coffee card! I love that it is actually shaped like a mug of coffee (my favorite drink!). I love the stickers that you used too. My favorite one is the little creature eating pie. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season!
u/alwaysediting Thank you for the cute giraffe holiday card! I love the little tree with presents that you drew in the card :) Also the little bear stickers on the envelope with the scarfs are so cute! I appreciate that you picked out a card for me without glitter lol my cats always seem to get that stuff on them somehow. Shiny kitties hahaha. That is cool that you did research about Nova Scotia :) When they give the tree to Boston, they do like a little parade downtown Halifax when they send it off. Right now they have another big tree at city hall that is all decorated and they do a light show on the building a few times a night. They hold a parade called The Parade of Lights where people have pretty floats and then at the end they light the tree at city hall. Back when I was in high school, I helped with one of the floats and we sang as we walked - I even had a solo :P One of my highlights that year. Hope that you have a great Christmas!
u/Monetmonkey Thank you for the blue bunny card! I love how cute and tiny that it is :) I appreciate that you wrote my name in calligraphy - I geek out when I see cool handwriting. I want to practice calligraphy :) It was so sweet of you to pick out a card with so much blue <3 You have a cool collection of washi tape. I really like the feather and Pacman tape that you used on the envelope. I had never seen Pacman tape before! Thank you for exchanging with me! Hope that you are doing well!
u/56Thorns Thank you for the lovely flower card and little goodies! It was really cute how you made that note on the envelope about Santa delivering the card to me :) I love your plans for the holidays <3 It sounds like a fun way to celebrate. I've already started watching some holiday movies. So far I watched the new Princess Switch movie, Holidate, and Lily Dash Netflix show. I like putting those on as I work on holiday cards and decorating. Here's my answers to the would you rather card that you included: be on top of a Ferris wheel during an earthquake OR during an electrical storm (storm - maybe a lower chance of getting hurt lol I hate heights so if it were shaking it would freak me out); have a front tooth permanently chipped OR have a noticeable scar on your cheek (scar - I don't mind scars since they tell a story but a chipped tooth would make it tough to eat and talk); live the life you currently have OR do it all over again and take your chances from the beginning, hoping to do some things differently (current life - wouldn't know for sure if the things I changed would change it for the better or worse - could be a domino effect lol); be a psychic that can sense people's dislikes OR a psychic that can sense people's fears (fears - there are so many things that people don't like and I think that would get overwhelming to think about all of the time lol). I hope that you both have a great Christmas and New Year. Thank you for exchanging with me!
u/ghostchild25 Thank you for the cute poodle card :) It had it ruff (pun intended lol) in the mail but it made it here safely. I love all of the stickers that you used! My favorite one is the cartoony cat and the little dog wagging its tail with a heart. We are huge animal lovers here just like you so I was so happy to see all of these stickers :P That is cool that you are a cat sitter! I used to do that too before the pandemic. I took care of a wide array of animals - ferrets, cats, dogs, snakes, fish, and birds. It was a lot of fun getting to cuddle with other pets and mine were always curious to smell me afterwards. I hope that you are doing well!
u/Honeybee-18 Thank you for the Santa card! He looks nice and cozy in front of the fire :) We have a wood stove and it is nice sitting in front of it with hot chocolate in the winter. Our cats love laying in front of it lol don't blame them - it is so nice and warm. Hope that you have a wonderful Christmas!
u/shady-lady68 Thank you for the cute Christmas card :) It is cool getting cards that are long like this - I don't see them very often. The washi tape and stickers that you used to decorate the envelope is cool :) The pattern that you created with the tape to make it look like ribbon was awesome. Hope that you have a great holiday season!
