I would like to thank u/dreamsofmercury for the Seattle postcard with the kind message. I agree with you about the importance of kindness. I don't do much to treat myself, to be honest with you, but one of my greatest pleasures is receiving cards from all over the world on this sub. It truly brights up my days.

I would like to thank u/xJaneDoe for the lovely inspirational postcard. Your words meant such a lot - thank you. I also enjoyed the Canadian Christmas stamp and the picture of the floral display.

I would like to thank u/SnailMailMom for the awesome Beatles postcard and the way you decorated the back of it. I liked the way you wrote my name in lower and upper case together!

I would like to thank u/LillyOfTheLake for my first religious Christmas card of the season. I enjoyed the artwork and the message in the card. I also appreciated the lovely stamps and the way that you seemed to have typed out my address on a typewriter. That's awesome!

I would like to thank u/wingardium_levi-out for the Christmas postcard with the sheep on it. For a moment, I was taken aback by the thought of you swimming in the cold water on Christmas day, until I realised where you live! I've done a bit of cold water swimming in my time and it's actually a New Year's Day tradition around here to take an ocean dip in freezing temperatures.

I want to thank u/AnalAboutFissures for the little encouragement card which made me tear up when I read your message. Thank you. I was deeply touched by your words of hope.

I would like to thank u/faybfay for the cute card and pretty fish print. I did enjoy it! I love the intricacies around the fin. It's really cool and I would encourage you to make more. Nature is so beautiful. I haven't been camping for a long time, but I'm surrounded by a fair bit of countryside where I live, so there are ample spaces to go for long country walks.

I really want to thank u/girlsonabench for the awesome voting postcards and the letter that you took the time to write. I was fascinated to hear about your thoughts and feelings regarding the election. I'm sure that a lot of people can relate to your stress around the whole process this year. Hopefully things will start to resolve themselves going forward.
