My semester ended just yesterday, and now I am FREE! Thank you to all you wonderful people who have sent me cards throughout this semester, it kept me going knowing I had such thoughtful and wonderful mail to look forward to every day. Please bear with me, this will be a long, but well-deserved Thank You list!
u/faybfay thank you for your thoughtful card and origami! I do enjoy outdoorsy things, but unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time, nor does my skin like the sun! I burn VERY easily, so I try to limit my time outside. Ironic, because I especially love the beach! My favorite quote I've heard today: "Love wide open."
u/cayt98 Your Alice in Wonderland postcard was the perfect "cup of tea!" I love the inspirational quote you included on it, it makes me excited for the year to come.
u/bobcrochets thank you for the beautiful postcard of Zion National Park, your recount of your own experience makes me want to visit too! And New Zealand is also on my list, as soon as worldwide travel is easier!
u/StephenfromReno88 thank you for the LotR cards, I loved the poem on the front and the picture you included of Yosemite. The outdoorsy stickers match perfectly! To answer your questions, I am studying design, and I am grateful for my wonderful family and friends who keep me grounded.
u/babyraspberry I cannot get over how beautifully consistent your handwriting is! And your postcard made me want to go to Portugal RIGHT NOW, I want a golden sunset instead of this crappy weather I have now lol. I was supposed to go to Thailand this fall to study abroad, but obviously that fell through, so I'm holding out for after I graduate and hopefully I can travel more then! The most exotic food I've had was probably frog legs or alligator meatballs, both not my favorite things, but I am glad to have tried them.
u/TheEndofMySong thank you so for the fortune telling, it was interesting to evaluate my life and determine if there was something I was trying to ignore. It's been a struggle to figure out my life recently, so taking a moment to reflect was nice. And your invitation was adorable.
u/witchy-beotch thank you for your pretty pink card with tiny stickers inside, they are so cute! Zootopia is definitely great, my favorite Disney movie is Lilo and Stitch for similar reasons. I will check out Lewis Carrolls books upon your recommendation!
u/FelineIntuition thank you for the halloween card, I am one of those freaks who loves glitter, so your card was perfect! You even used a glitter pen! Hope you had a great Halloween too!
u/Dawnlb I LOVE your NSFW card, and the drawing of the cat on the front is so FREAKING cute! This made me laugh really hard, I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
u/PoisonousKey thank you for the Halloween card filled with goodies! I've never seen anything like the fortune teller fish, I can't wait to show it to my whole family! And the washi tape was a welcome surprise amongst all the little spiders!
u/ladyg8r Thank you x2 for both the Halloween and Thanksgiving cards! I really look forward to receiving your holiday cards, and I'm impressed you haven't missed a holiday yet!
u/sarcastic_tortoise your poppy card is so pretty, thank you! I did know that it is said not to eat poppy seeds before a drug test, but these days it's not as much as an issue, they've got better tests to differentiate that now. Still, I don't eat poppy seeds or take drug tests often enough for it to matter lol.
u/anfield456 thank you for the adorably funny cat-comic postcard, it made me laugh! I can't believe you had a heatwave in the middle of October, it has already snowed twice here this fall and I am NOT a happy camper! I would much prefer the heat.
u/desrae2002 thank you for such a wonderful handmade card, and the pumpkin poem you included as well! Such sweet imagery, fall is my favorite season and poems like this only reinforce that.
u/kinkyzilly3018 thank you for the handmade fall-inspired postcard! You even used fall-colored pens in gradient style, how fancy! I do not have any fall traditions per say, but when I was younger I have very fond memories of going to the apple orchards and having hot apple cider on chilly days. Fall is my absolute favorite season.
u/reclusiverabbit thank you very much for the postcard of your dogs, I think it's so cool that your friend made this card for you! It makes me miss my dog too, but I get to visit her this week! Thank you for sharing such a special gift with me.
u/sparklyrk your postcard of Saturn's moons is stunning, I love astronomy and astro-photography. And the stamps you used are so cool! I love when people use multiple stamps, it's so fun to see all the different designs. I'm glad you can't remember the worst thing you've ever smelled, I can't remember either! But I could come up with some top contenders lol.
u/ninajyang thank you for the beach postcard, I wish I was at the beach right now! And your anecdote was charming, I agree, it is perfectly reasonable to ask for sparkling wine!
u/monetmonkey thank you for the Big Cat Sanctuary card! I loved reading the story behind Atara, and you even went all out on decorating the envelope with tape and stickers and cute handwriting! This was really fun to read.
u/dwrfstr last but not least, thank you x2! Your cards are so amazing, and full of fun stickers and photos and things! Especially the birthday card, you are officially the first person to wish me a happy birthday! I will send a response soon! :)
*Final note, I did receive a pink package of amazing postcards (some cards were of famous woman in history) and stickers, but no username was included, so I am sorry I cannot thank you properly! Please let me know if you see this so I can credit you!
