[Thank You] Monday's generous haul

Post Body

I know, I said I would go back to doing individual thank yous after I got up to date with the big pile I had, but yesterday's haul proved extra generous, and with that many thank yous, I would be making the other posts invisible, and that is certainly not my goal! So, here goes, the cards I received last night!

u/PoisonousKey: Thank you so much for the Krampus postcard! Okay, apple crisp flavoured ice cream sounds amazing, and you didn't even share the brand, that's evil. XD It sounds divine! I so want some now. I too love special edition food, but I wish it was available year round. Like Terry chocolate oranges! And vanilla coke! Aaaaaand now I'm hungry. :P Have a great day!

u/cactiley: Thank you so much for the colourful rainbow sea flap flap postcard! It's so pretty and colourful, I love your doodle! Your handwriting is super cute, too! Of course I love it. Best to you and yours! Have a great day!

u/iivyy: Thank you so much for the cartoon Manchester postcard! I sure miss traveling too! But money was an issue for me long before the pandemic lol. I'd love to visit there one day, especially as I have a friend who lives there! Your Halloween washi is super cute! Have a great day!

u/halfwayoutoftown: Thank you so much for the cozy bookstore postcard! These places are always so inviting, even if only in a painting. :P That is some heckin' cute washi, too, but I had to tell you how great your calligraphy is! That book sounds super interesting! I've heard Ronan Farrow being interviewed before, and he comes off as someone whose work I definetely want to know more about! Thank you for the recommendation! Have a great day!

u/kecr101: Thank you so much for the postcard of the bird who shares its brain with me! If it's insane and would only ever be done by someone who hasn't paused to consider carefully, then yep, sounds like me! I don't think it's weird, I think my address is nice too! Of course I may be biased into liking it, as I've lived here for 28 years. XD I'm also glad your postcard didn't have to contain that request. Not because you're not lovely; you do seem awesome, but we're all so frikkin relieved, omigod. Have a great day!

u/AnalAboutFissures: Thank you so much for the super tiny card! It's absolutely adorable! How dare you call it poorly made in your post? It's so lovely! You are very talented! This card will indeed make someone very happy. :D Hopefully as happy as it made me! Have a great day!

u/Weltanschauung_Zyxt: Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card of a moose eating a cookie! He looks so comfortable! I also love the washi you used on the envelope, where did you get it (pretty stickers too!)? A very happy and safe holiday right back at you! Merry Christmas! Unfortunately for us, I think the only way to make it safe is to not see my extended family at all this year, but that's alright, because we have Teams, and that is honestly very very good. It's a party without the dirty dishes! Have a great day!

u/twerptwo: Thank you so much for the adorable card with penguins building a snowman! You actually sent two cards in one! The little tiny one in a red envelope didn't go unnoticed! I wish you very happy holidays, and a very merry Christmas! Your wishes are beautiful, and I wish all the same to you! Hopefully 2021 brings us some comfort! Thank you so much for the hot chocolate, too! I was so intrigued why the envelope was so heavy. This is going to taste amazing, and I for sure will be thinking of all the joy you and this community have brought me when I drink it. Thank you so much! Have a great day!

u/Kinderperson: Thank you so much for the monarch butterfly card! I also really loved the stamps you used! Fishies, and Bugs Bunny? Love that guy. But reading all those cool monarch facts was so cool! I study horticulture and we have classes on insects, and so I know a few things about them, but I absolutely didn't remember them having such a short lifespan, and it being the fourth generation that reaches Mexico (or that means the generation that comes back our way is also the fourth!). That's insane. There's so much fascinating things about the world around us, and we know absolutely nothing. It's incredible. I'm a big fan of milkweed! Did you know that its fibers can be used as an insulator in really great quality winter coats, rather than down? I think it's amazing. Have a great day!
