Bear with me, lovely people, we will see this through! As Éric powers through his anxiety which rises with the ever rising pile of cards, there is hope on the horizon. Yay!

u/MadameTrixie: Thank you so much for the beach postcard! It's a very vintage feel, wonder when it was printed? That beach is SO crowded, though! And who knows, maybe it is a haunted beach! The ghost of a lifeguard who swallowed his whistle can still be heard at night, when everything is quiet... Maybe? XD Have a great day!

u/sparklyrk: Thank you so much for the space postcard! Galaxies and stuff are so gorgeous, the cosmos is incredible. I love its beauty, yet I find myself grow very anxious when I look at the starry night sky, or when I look into the deep blue sky on a sunny day, because the blue is so deep it's almost black, and I feel how very tiny and insignificant our lives are in comparison to giant astral bodies. Okay, enough stress now! I am staying safe and taking care, thanks! Wishing the same to you! Have a great day!

u/lemonjeloh: Thank you so much for the Green Lantern postcard! I don't know much about Green Lantern as a superhero, but I gather he's pretty nifty! Apparently his movie sucked, though (but Ryan Reynolds!). Something happened in transit and the back of the postcard had a lot of the paper ripped off on the text side (maybe Green Lantern's enemies trying to obfuscate his allies' means of communication!), but I managed to piece it together enough to read your kind words. It's a joy to be part of this community. Have a great day!

u/sweetpeahahn: Thank you so much for the women in science postcard! I had never heard of Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard before, but I'm glad your card provided the opportunity for me to learn! She sounds amazingly cool and her discoveries are super valuable, but I couldn't work with flies the way she did. One of our jobs in the school greenhouses is to inspect plants for insects, including flies (not like house flies, other kinds of flies), and after two hours of doing that, you reaaaaally get the impression they're crawling all over you, even when they're not. Especially aphids. Don't get me started on aphids. XD Your doodle is very cute, what kind of markers did you use? Have a great day!

u/cayt98: Thank you so much for the adorable skeleton postcard! I've never had a bonfire for Halloween, typically here those are more summer activities. Nor have I ever had hot apple cider! I don't drink it very often, but the times I have, it was probably more like sparkly apple must. What did you end up going as? I didn't work that day, so I didn't put in nearly as much effort, but I did my face as a Piet Mondrian painting (initially I was going to go with Kandinsky, but quickly realized I didn't know what I was doing nearly enough). Have a great day!

u/ghostchild25: Thank you so much for the cute kissing postcard! I'd never heard the music for Halloween, nor have I seen the movie, but I'm giving the theme music a listen right now, and it's pretty good! Love the rainbow stamp, too! Hope your Halloween was happy! Have a great day!

u/atlantictwilight: Thank you so much for the handmade postcard! It's absolutely beautiful! I really love your aesthetics! It's simple and clean and just gorgeous! I'd never heard that quote before you offered the cards, but it really speaks to me! I am keeping as warm and safe as I can, but last week was unseasonably warm and now it isn't anymore and I miss that! XD Don't give up practicing French! It's not an easy language, granted. :P Congratulations again on your thesis! Honestly it's so amazing to reach that point! Also you have great handwriting! Have a great day!

u/New_Year_Baby: Thank you so much for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games mascot! I'd never seen Sumi before, but he's adorable! Pairs especially well with the forest-y stamp, too! (And now I'm wondering if there are Montréal 1976 postcards... probably!) It snowed here like three times, including yesterday, but it's not been cold enough for it to stay on the ground. Last week was unseasonably warm for a couple of days, like 22 C warm! It was crazy. I loved it, and now I miss it! I don't miss shoveling, though, ack. Nor scraping! Hope there's snow for the holidays, but hope the winter's not too difficult... Have a great day!

u/Possible_Car: Thank you so much for the German EU COVID card! Masks here are obligatory by law for going anywhere into a shop or whatever, everything else is closed, we're in a red zone so we're not allowed to see anyone not from our address, so at least the government is making sure there's a minimum that's respected, but I would be safe regardless, not to worry! I work in retail, so social distancing, hand sanitizing, and proper mask usage is especially important to me. Hope you're staying safe too! Have a great day!

u/lumiaglow: Thank you so much for the cheerful postcard! These are very positive thoughts! I've never read The Alchemist, but I really enjoyed the Coelho quote! I realise I must have misspelled my name when I gave you my address. XD Oh well! Have a great day!

u/cashewnut25: Thank you so much for the adorable badass sloth postcard! What an absolute mad lad. I feel the caption on a deep level, too. Born to be mild? That's hilarious. XD Sloths are indeed awesome, as is the picture of the pineapple you added. Is that washi? Have a great day!

u/reclusiverabbit: Thank you so much for the mountain postcard! I love the aesthetic of simple colours and simple geometric shapes! I wonder if it's an art style that has a name? I like it very much. I also love that you have a stamp made with your username, too! That's classy af. XD Last week was unseasonably warm for us too! I'm talking like 22 C on the hottest day, which is incredible! I took a bunch of walks! Now it's colder and less fun to take walks, but I still dig the fresh air. Hope all is well with you! Have a great day!

u/Sadiefenix: Thank you so much for the lumberjack bear postcard! He's a beautiful fellow! I've never been to Alaska, but it sounds so amazing. Also that hockey stamp you used warms the cockles of my heart because hockey is amazing. It's great to hear you manage to make the most of winter. I wish I did more of that, and less grumbling. I actually really liked playing hockey, back in school, but I can't actually skate, and I don't have the gear... I can still totally play in my boots, though! I hope the skiing is great! That's a super cool photo you took, and what a way to showcase it! I'd totally love to do that someday too. Have you seen the bear since writing to me? Hopefully if you did it wasn't face to face. Nature is awesome, but being safe is awesomer. :P Have a great day!

u/LaCuntessa: Thank you so much for the cool Ludwig II postcard! I love the space stamps so much, too! Life over here pretty much means you don't find Justin Trudeau dreamy. XD Listening to him talk is kind of appalling lmao. Speaking so much, and saying so little! Could be a lot worse, though, I guess! Here is boring too, what with being in a COVID red zone, and all. About that card, I don't know much about royalty, but I am a Ludwig II building ambition enthusiast, so I know a tiny bit. Isn't that woman, Sophie the Bavarian Duchess also his cousin? That marriage fell through, if I remember correctly. Have you ever been to Neuschwanstein? It's AMAZING. Have a great day!

u/swfbh234: Thank you so much for the awesome WWI art postcard! It's really cool. I really love the fact that despite the use of vivid colours like purple, teal, and pink, the overall tone of the image still manages to be haunting. The soldiers are all faceless, safe for the dead one. That is some powerful imagery. Thank you so much for sharing! Have a great day!

u/dwrfstr: Thank you so much for the book recommendation postcard! I've never read anything steampunk, but the aesthetics are very interesting to me! Is it weird if I think what you're describing sounds like a couple of Doctor Who episodes? I'm an enthusiastic reader usually but to my dismay I've not been able to do much of that this year. I'm really wanting to start Jenna Moreci's The Saviour's Sister, though! Have a great day!

u/vjordan86: Thank you for the Où est Charlie? postcard! I found everything on the checklist, plus the thief, AND OMG I JUST FOUND CHARLIE! Have a great day!
