Emory Douglas is one of the most iconic artists in the Civil Rights Movements and served as the Minister of Culture for the Black Panther party from 1967 - 1980. His art is known for being radical both in aesthetic and messages, calling for the solidarity of the oppressed, not only African-Americans but people all over the world in the fight for peace and democracy against racism and imperialism.
In light of the rise of right-wing movements around the world threatening marginalized populations and the recent election in the US, I'd like to offer six Emory Douglas cards of six different designs to anyone who wishes to connect with this solidarity. Please indicate if you'd like it to be sent as a postcard or in an envelope, as some of these pieces may be viewed as offensive. I will write a quote or a fact about social justice on the back unless you have any other requests.
If there are more requests than cards, I'll randomly choose recipients in 24 hours.
