Thank you, u/suzilla10 for *ahem* The Empress' postcard (she claimed it so it is hers now!) I still wanted to thank you for it anyway :D We must have watched the same documentary! I had also read somewhere that ancient Egyptians mummified their cats but I had NO IDEA that SO MANY were mummified. There was a really good BBC documentary I watched a few years ago that followed a scientist/anthropologist who was researching (and proved, btw) that all felines today are direct descendants of ancient Egyptian cats. The Empress is, of course, like 'DUH. I KNEW ALL ALONG THAT I WAS ROYALTY, YOU STUPID HUMAN. NOW GO GET ME A TUNA SNACK, MINION!'
