u/Silvereye89 Hi! Thank you for the bird card! The legs on it are wild! It makes the legs of our chickens look itty bitty lol. I would love to get to see these birds in person one day. I took an ornithology course last summer and realized how cool these creatures are. Your handwriting is super pretty :) I think that this is only my second card from New Zealand – all the way on the other side of the world. Thanks again for the cute card! u/crispyvuitton Hello! Thank you for the card :) We have been talking a bit about the New Yorker in my graphic novel class. A lot of the authors that we have read have published in it prior to producing their novels. That is cool that you like to study perfumes! One of my regulars at my campus pub made his own perfumes. It was fun getting to smell them all as he tested new ones out. I really liked getting to wear a new scent for the rest of my shift :) I would love to try making my own candles sometime! I really enjoy doing crafts and I use candles at home all the time. Hope that you are doing well :) Thanks again for cool card!

I spent it listening to spooky songs while writing a lab report. Our neighborhood mostly left candy out in bowls to aid with social distancing. Thank you again for the card :)

u/reddituserkoot Thank you for the adorable kitty card! I LOVE cats – we have five of them. Most of ours are seniors, with our youngest being 8mo (Luna). I adopted her back in May :) She loves having some many friends to play with. That is cute that you have a neighborhood cat to cuddle with. We have taken in quite a few strays and they make the best pets – they are so grateful for having a family. There are three neighborhood cats where I am: an orange one, and two black ones. Sometimes I get lucky and see them crossing my yard so I can go get cuddles and give them kitty treats. You can never have enough cats to cuddle with :) I hope that you are doing well and had a great Halloween weekend! Thank you again for the card :)

I would love to visit there one day :) I have never been to the States before – only flew over on my way to the Dominican a few years ago. I wish that we had the warm weather that you mentioned. We had snow for the first time this year a couple of days ago. No more shorts outside without freezing lol. I hope that you enjoyed the rest of your summer! Best wishes from Canada!

u/shayoy Thank you for the museum district card! I am so happy that you liked the card that I sent :) I watched Books of Blood (the movie filmed here), just before it came out. The local film festival did an online screening of it. It was so cool getting to see creepy things happen in our house and my room. We have not tried the fresh eggs from our chickens yet lol. We have been smashing them on the ground for the chickens to eat. Apparently, it is very nutritious for them so we thought that might help them get some winter weight. They all start talking and race over to eat it lol. We found a way to preserve them without getting the pickle taste, so we are going to try that in a few weeks. My classes have kept me super busy – hence why this took so long to post lol. I have about six assignments due per week so there has not been much of a break. Over halfway done the semester though! I am looking forward to spending some time playing video games over the break. Hope that you are well! Thanks again for the card!

I agree that it is so cool that we can all communicate via postcards from a world away. I have been doing a lot of reading lately for my courses – one of them is about graphic novels. We read “ Fun Home” last week and I really enjoyed it. I used to read a lot of comics in junior high, so this is neat to be able to read more mature works using this medium. When I do not have to focus on my work as much, I like putting on Grey’s Anatomy in the background. I am looking forward to the new season! I binged all of Gilmore Girls a couple of years ago :) Nova Scotia is such a pretty place – I love watching all the leaves change color in the fall. Right now, we have a lot of leaves in our yard – our chickens love looking for bugs under them. And your handwriting is not bad – it was easy to read :) I wish that my university had postcards like yours – our bookstore does not offer them. Hope that you are doing well!
