/u/Madvix - Thanks so much for the Scotland card from Scotland to Scotland! Haha. Wow, your two truths and one lie, just wow, it's so awesome that two of these are truths!!! I'm going to guess the part in Lord of the Rings, but the Prince Harry snog and flight with rockstars are equally amazing!
/u/welshfancy x2 - Your postcard, Halloween card, and stickers all came on the same day! We do have Halloween here :) Actually, the word Halloween I believe comes from Scotland;
from Wiki;
" The word Halloween or Hallowe'en dates to about 1745[32] and is of Christian origin.[33] The word "Hallowe'en" means "Saints' evening".[34] It comes from a Scottish term for All Hallows' Eve (the evening before All Hallows' Day).[35] In Scots, the word "eve" is even, and this is contracted to e'en or een. Over time, (All) Hallow(s) E(v)en evolved into Hallowe'en. Although the phrase "All Hallows'" is found in Old English "All Hallows' Eve" is itself not seen until 1556 "
However, and very sadly, Halloween these days is not widely celebrated. Trick or treaters are not as common, and I imagine will be even rarer this year. Halloween is my wife's favorite holiday, but its pale in comparison to how it's done in America. We hope to come to Florida for Halloween 2021 to be with my wife's family and let me experience Halloween as it should be!
Also, in Scotland, before pumpkin carving, people in Scotland carved turnips!
The stickers you sent are fantastic! Really, perfect! They're going to go so well in our book, especially for the gardens we visit. Thank you so much :D
/u/mangosparklingwater - Thank you for the bird and sun postcard! Looks awesome, though I'm in awe as to how the postman managed to decipher my address, as it looks like USPS put a big lovely stamp right across the address, covering the name and first line! Hope you enjoy the card coming your way :D
