Hi everyone -- I'm a long time lurker on this sub, first time poster. Thank you for bearing with my rambling!
My husband is turning 30 in about two weeks and due to COVID we obviously won't be able to have a traditional party, even with his family. (We're following VERY strict shelter at home and his parents are very-high risk, so even when we see them it's very strict social distancing.) I could tell that he was bummed out about not having a traditional get together for his birthday--it's the one time he ever really puts himself first, but he seemed to be taking it in stride over the last few weeks.
Fast forward to the end of last week, though, and he got really bad news about work. Starting 07.01, his job (which he loves) has been eliminated and he's crushed. I think he's feeling really down and understandably sad. He tries not to get down about it, but I know that he's really struggling.
My goal is to surprise him with 30 cards from 30 reddit users for his 30th birthday. I think it'd really make him smile. If you're able to help, I'd really appreciate it and I think it could really cheer him up.
Please comment or message me if you have any questions!
Edit: I totally forgot to include his name. His name is Aldous. Sorry!
