Hey everyone. I’ve had a couple of messages now so I thought I’d make a general post to thank you all and when I can, I will come back to things and name all the people who have sent me mail.

I hear at least a couple of you have been worried about me because I haven’t been on here and you know I’m in NYC. My surgery went well but I did get a pretty bad case of COVID (despite early/very careful isolation!) and was almost hospitalized. I am actually one of the people who has had a really hard time getting over it and I’m still not at 100% after all this time. It’s been about 11 weeks since my ER visit and all your mail is scattered, some of it unopened, around my very messy home right now since I’ve been too sick to tackle the mess. We also had some trouble with the mail for a while in NYC at the height of things, as a heads up in case something came back that you didn’t expect it to or didn’t have a good reason.

So, I’m sorry if I owe you a thank you (or a card) and I’m sure eventually I’ll get to them all but it may be a very long time. The ones I did get to read have been really lovely and appreciated.
