With immense gratitude:

u/Particleofdark: Thank you for the fabulous self made MaxiCard and your generosity in sending it out to many people ! Since it is one of a kind, it’s in my prized MaxiCard collection! It was fascinating to read your post (on r/deltiology) about how you made it by printing your own postcard based upon Transcontinental Railroad stamps, and getting a special ‘Transcontinental Railroad’ postmark from USPS! Here’s the post in case anyone is interested: Transcontinental Railroad MaxiCard

u/wisdombabies: Thank you for the lovely Venom postcard. I remember PMing you when it arrived, after 5 months in transit (November 12, 2019) ! And here I am thanking you, nearly 7 months after it arrived! Eek. The Venom quote you included was so on point ( re: the movie) - “Cooperate and you might just survive.”

u/irrevocable_curses: (Arrived around November 11th last year.) Thank you for the beautiful and meditative Oregon postcard with the evocative John Muir quote. I love nature, and especially mountains and Oregon is one of the places I’d love to visit some day, especially Crater Lake National Park. The other John Muir quote you included is so appropriate for dire times like these! I love how it ends: “...the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.”

u/LanguageManiac: A much belated thank you for your lovely ‘Catedrales Viejo Y Nuevo Y Torres De La Clerecia’ (Salamanca) postcard! Loved everything about it: your description of the weather, of Salamanca being a world heritage city! You mentioned that the picture in the stamp commemorates the university’s 800 years. I’m assuming it’s the uni that you were/are attending? Also love the Cervantes quote: “Salamanca, a land that casts a spell on the will of anyone who has enjoyed its peaceful way of life to make them come back.” Makes me want to visit Spain and Salamanca! I hope you’re checking out Aussie universities like you mentioned! :)
