An innocent woman was murdered. Today she would have been 27 years old. The life of Breonna will not and cannot be forgotten.

Right now, there is a campaign sending out birthday cards, cards, and postcards to the AG of and mayor of Kentucky demanding justice for her. I want to share this with the RAOC community because I know the good we do. Here is the mailing info.

With this information, you can send cards remembering Breonna’s life or demanding an inquest into her death. It’s up to you on how you choose to use your voice. Please, no ill intent cards. We want to show that while we mean business, we still can do so in an impactful, kind, and stern way. Kindness does not mean weakness. Don’t forget that.

This is a call to action to demand justice for Breonna. We have a serious platform here in our community, so why not use our voices to enact real change? This isn’t inflammatory or contentious, and I have no intention other than to share activism with those willing to take up the mantle for change.

A card can change the world. I truly believe our voices can too. I love and appreciate y’all and hope you take the time to consider helping a woman who brought so much joy to so many people. She mattered. It’s time to turn this into a narrative of change.
