Whilst I wait eagerly to hear Boris' announcement later today that, we assume, will ease up on the lockdown, I write this thank you after another lengthy week of getting by with a little help from my friends. By which I mean the lovely senders of this week's cards (NSFW)

Firstly to u/bananacreampiee for a wonderful assortment of stickers and washi, as well at her handmade blue card that I was fortunate enough to pick from a plethora of handmade gems she had crafted recently. Thank you also for the beautiful, wonderful and inspiring letter that managed to examined a sad situation with wonderful compassion and inspiring courage to the point that it became uplifting. I admire you and the depth with which you understand humanity.

u/chikadatte sent her card waaaaaaaay back in February and so much has changed since then. The card has probably been many places, met many people and been on great adventures, but I'm glad it finally decided to make its way to me. I am now the very proud owner of one of her coveted drawn cards; on mine she drew a character from shokugeki, a cooking centric manga, and I'm greatly curious to investigate further. It came accompanied by a letter on moomin paper (who didn't love the moomins?) - thank you for saying I seem like a cool person (I clearly am) and the admiration you have for people that can cook is the same admiration that I have for those that can draw!

To u/msmomoma for the data tracking card. On mine she tracked what drinks were consumed that day (April 11) and I think she lied because it looks very reasonable (two coffees, one soda and five waters) and that's just not in lockdown spirit. Where is all the booze???!

To u/kelstars shouting out from Hawaii with a Portland card from when she visited the area with friends. You did indeed send some sunshine this week, though now looking out the window it's buggered off again. Being lockdowned in London, I am missing green and beautiful spaces and I think getting out to those will be among the first on my list!

u/dortytightsdelano for the nine postcard essay. Among which was the vagina card from the brilliant vagina museum. The vagina museum is actually in my neighbourhood so she went there, picked up the card, took it home, and then basically sent it back to where it came from. Cheers for answering ALL my questions with such thoroughness and thought - apply the same earnestness to your uni work and it will all be peachy sweetie.
