Yup, I was severely disappointed in a lot of the loose ends and plot holes in Picard. Let's hope Season 2 improves! Another Trekkie friend of mine sent me this: "Need a good speech writer? Picard's your man. Need some war crimes committed? Sisko's got you covered. Need to actually get shit done in space? Janeway's your home girl." (I can't say I disagree..haha!)

If I had the money, I'd make my own Trek show branching off from Picard: Janeway, so pissed off by Starfleet's mess of the evacuation, leaves Starfleet and trades her uniform in for a freedom fighter's weapon and she forms the Fenris Rangers together with Chakotay. He'd call in all his Maquis homies and BAM! Vigilante justice in the Alpha and Gamma quadrants. MAKE IT HAPPEN, CBS!!
