u/halluncineating x 6 Wow, this Matsumoto Hoji frog is so adorable, and yet he or she has such dignity as well. And the wee promotional tea cards were a real joy to receive - I collect old UK cigarette cards (the variety out there is bonkers), but ones from tea packages are more scarce, and these are especially delightful. I appreciate your washi tape work, and wonderfully idiosyncratic handwriting as well! I haven't sent you anything yet, is that right? Must rectify this, if you'd like, PM info if so! <3 EDIT: just remembered I have your return address from the envelope already, never mind!
u/srahbaby92 Such a sweet cactus card (my fave plant group), and oh man thank you for several diverse and fun stickers! Stickers are life : ) And a whole entire roll of pretty blue-starred washi tape - I'm running low and it's getting urgent, so bonus thanks there too!
u/spitzruten x 3 Once again you have sent my favorite type of card, vintage foods and drink! I just love the look of the photography from the era, and of course learning about new cuisine. The cottage cheese bread pudding is so interesting, sure doesn't look like what we expect for baby food. The borscht recipe was of note because, and maybe I'm just a little ignorant here : ) bur I don't think I've had it prepared with aubergine, and wonder how it changes the taste and texture. As always these are great, and you're so thoughtful and generous with them : ) Also adding pic of the beautiful envelope illustration.
