Over the past couple of weeks I collected bunches of postcards and extra stuff from various well known London landmarks and museums. Today I'm offering up the batch from The Tower of London
Fun fact: I've been locked in the tower. I was visiting my brother, who is an Officer of the Irish Guards, when he was posted there. Yes with the big fluffy hat. Yes I got to wear big fluffy hat (I'm not actually allowed to post pictures of fucking around in big fluffy hat so this is only up for a couple hours. Edit: pic now removed!). We were hanging out in his officer's quarters above the Crown Jewels. This was on June 3rd 2017 when there was a terrorist attack on Borough Market. Upon the news reaching the army, the Tower was placed in lockdown, myself and my SIL were not allowed to leave and it was a very long night.
I believe upon hearing we were in lockdown I yelled at my sibling " YOU CAN'T LOCK ME IN THE TOWER, YOU'RE NOT FUCKING HENRY VIII, YOU'RE MY LITTLE BROTHER" Apparently that doesn't matter because being part of the Queen's Guard has more sway than being a chef which I still contest.
So, in order to get one of five postcards please share a story of being locked or trapped somewhere. Anything goes as long as you found yourself unexpectedly and unable to leave willingly! Also add what country you are in (yes, you can enter if you're also in the UK! And I don't mind if you've entered other recent offers of mine either. Go ahead.)
A flair isn't necessary, but please have made a thank you post within the last month.
One person will also get mediaeval heraldry themed writing paper and envelopes and a copy of The Ravenmaster by Christopher Skaife.
Offer closes at 1800GMT
