u/namastecyclin Thank you for this wonderful message. I have a small dog named toasty, he’s pretty great. I recommend the big Saint Bernardes (or mountain doggos) because they are good with small children, but pugs and poodles and else are not a good. Also the mountain dogs live longer, and have less health problems. They are commonly therapy dogs for their calm temper :3 (same with collies) best of luck! Always reach out to local shelters, or responsible breeders too!
