I was just in Washington DC for work and when that happens my go to place to visit with newbies and with little to no time is the Portrait Museum. (edit: National Portrait Gallery....I always say it wrong). We had about three hours before our flight home so there we went to check out the oh so many awesome pieces of art. While walking in is free, getting out of the gift shop for me is never free. I have a thing for cards.
