Hi everybody :)

My dear uncle had surgery earlier this year and is now in a rehab facility for the next couple weeks. He lost several loved ones over the past couple years, and between the grief and his health worries, he was in really low spirits. RAoC came through for him with some lovely cards, and he's finally smiling again! He has even started writing cards to others through the sub.

I would love some more cards for him while he's in rehab. My uncle is the most giving man I have ever met, always ready to help wherever he's needed, was a volunteer firefighter for decades, just a good soul. He loves RV travel (especially Scandinavia), moose, funny things, trolls, gardening, children, bowling, building/fixing stuff, firefighting, the Northern Lights.

Just a postcard from wherever you live would be fabulous, it'll give him new travel goals to focus on and something to look forward to. But really any kind of cards will work. He's just been so grateful for the cards he received, he made a display so he can hang them on his wall.

He doesn't speak English (German only), so if you'd be willing to send me whatever you want to write on your card (reply here or via PM/chat), I will translate. I know this is a lot to ask, but it would mean the world to me (and him, of course!). If you prefer to write in English, I will translate your card once he receives it. But I think it's better if he can pick up his cards anytime to re-read them directly :)
