Hello everyone!

Things have not been going well, I lost my mother in August and that was well… there’s no words to describe it.

Naturally, my day to day life got turned upside down.

During the last 2.5 months I received a lot of lovely mail, that even for a briefest second made me feel spark of joy.

u/RayneKitten – Thank you for Penguin book card, I’d love to get a set of these myself. I always enjoy getting book recommendations, so I’m sure to take a look at your favorite fantasy series. I’ve reread HP, LOTR and ASOIAF way too many times.

u/20thsieclefox – Thank you for your quite unusual card. I loved the quote from Edgar Allan Poe, I’ve been intending to reread more of him this spooky season, but alas I have not had time to do so. It’s a good thing that, for me, spooky season is all year round. Also, your card got sent to Montserrat by mistake! That was quite a journey!

u/awonderfulsheep – I was so delighted when I received your wonderful envelope. You really put some time into decorating it. Thank you for your efforts! I don’t have heart to use up the tea bags you sent me, OR the lovely stickers, I need to find a worthy place to place them.

u/DaenerysWon – Thank you for yet another card! You’re a star! Klimt is one of my all time favorites, in fact I collect prints of his works, your card is stunning addition to my collection. J

u/SaintMeris – Thank you for card from Finland! I love it so much! And ice cream bookmarker! It’s so cute. Your card was sent during summer, good thing that it’s still summer weather here, some people are still going to the beach! How’s the weather up north?

u/Amarache – 2X What says better about how late I am with these thank you-s than receiving two cards from Australia!! It took about 2.5 months to deliver each. I loved both of your cards, but I have to admit that I liked one with artwork by indigenous artist a bit better. I’m always a sucker for an art card.

u/pinktothebone – 2X Thank you for two cards addressed to my mum. They are both cheesy and adorable, I love them. They arrived such a long time ago, it’s embarrassing for me to admit. BUT! I finally did a thank you, so that’s what counts.

u/dersucher – Thank you for lovely card from Brazil. It always feels magical to receive a card from so far away! The back of it looks like a page from a scrapbook, I love the stamps and hortensia flower. “Life is though, but so are you” is one of my favorite sayings.

u/quick_quip_whip – Thank you for Verona card. I know it’s a cliché, but postcards from Italy always make me wish I was there. I really appreciate that you sent me a card that your parents bought a long time ago, it would be difficult for me to part with it. Thank you for sharing!

I wish I could tell you when exactly your card arrived so you can put it down in your spreadsheet, but the card doesn’t appear to be stamped upon arrival here. My best guess is early October, just like you estimated.

u/artdavinci – You cards are truly magical! And so are you, with how much effort you put into RAoC! Thank you for Taurus drawing for my mother, she would’ve loved it. Breast cancer stamps were such a thoughtful touch.

It appears that your card was missent to Mongolia of all places, well I would love to visit there one day.

u/ninajyang – Thank you for Iceland card for my collection of Iceland cards, that’s two so far. J I really really need to get my hands on some of these cards where you submit your own picture, they are that extra bit more special.

u/vcconut – Thank you Women in Science card. I love it! Writing on the back really confused me, and then I realized that it was probably a mailing list I filled out and forgotten what I have written. Oh, well…

Two unknown senders:

- Thank you to Sophia for Flo-Jo card, that was sent all the way back in early August. I really love the simplicity of the design.

- Thank you to Clover(?) from Baltimore for the recipe card. This sounds absolutely delicious, but unfortunately for me, it really cannot be “veganised” in any way. I can pass the recipe to my aunt tho!

Going through the text to check for grammar mistakes would actually kill me, so excuse my terrible use of English language. :)

And thanks to mods for correcting the usernames, I'm already sure that I mangled some of them.
